SUMMARY:

Harley Davidson has added a model to their stable for 2011 that will have enormous appeal to that segment of Ontario motorcycle riders who love to tour long distance. The Road Glide Ultra FLTRU seems destined to be immensely popular.

Harley Davidson’s new 2011 Road Glide Ultra FLTRU will undoubtedly get a lot of attention this year at the Toronto Motorcycle Show and at the International Motorcycle Supershow. This new model just goes to show that the variations Harley Davidson is capable of coming out with are almost endless. Now you can get the distinct Road Glide frame-mounted “Shark Nose” fairing with the practical, convenient decker features of the Ultra or Electraglide. (The Road Glide Custom will also offer a frame mounted Harley fairing.)

This motorcycle is obviously built for long distance touring, and to emphasize that this is a premium tourer Harley Davidson has included GTX saddlebags and Tour-Pak. Available in four colours (it doesn’t seem to be the year for two tones), and priced competitively as Harley Davidson has been for quite a while now, it seems likely that Harley Davidson dealers across Ontario will be moving quite a few of these models. Check out the entire 2011 Harley Davidson model lineup.
